Young people's rights to privacy, protection from discrimination and the right to a safe environment and be linked to Data Protection Day (DPD)(28th January 2011).
This topic aims to empower young people to raise their voice and influence matters that affect their lives, ensuring them their right to freedom of speech on issues of concern but also raising their awareness to the discriminatory nature of certain portrayals of youth in news programmes and through advertising.
