Teachers using the PlayDecide kit "Klimaatpraat"
Teachers using the PlayDecide kit "Klimaatpraat"

Sixty dutch teachers of primary schools used a modified version of the PlayDecide kit on Climate Change to identify and discuss issues about climate change. The event took place in NEMO, the science center in Amsterdam, in the framework of a professional development workshop on earth observation and climate change.
The kit used in this event contains more information and issue cards than a typical kit, and is used to quickly identify clusters of themes and issues. The activity takes about 30 minutes, and the kit contains a modified version of the placemat for the players and for the group. All these materials, together with the instructions on how to use the kit, are available for download.
The kit is meant to be used by teachers, not necessarily by the students, as a professional development tool.
